Denmark has right now 166 athletes, who could compete for Denmark, not all the sports have yet have a qualification for the Olympic. Only 39 people have official already a spot at the Olympic Games, which was official made from DIF the 1st of November. Example Tennis player Caroline Wozniacki will not have her qualification before June 2012.
In total for Olympics in 2012 there is 26 different sports, we can be attending 19 of them: Aarchery, athletic, badminton, beach volley, boxing, bicycling, gymnastic and trampoline, handball, kayak, riding, rowing, swimming, sailing, shooting, table tennis, tennis, triathlon, taekwondo, wrestling.
Some of the best obtained achievement in the history for Denmark has been the female handball team, they won three gold medals three games in a row (1996-2004). Eskild Ebbesen has also won three gold medals for Denmark but not in a row, but last gold medal was in 2004 and he is one of our big hopes for this upcoming Olympic.
