November 2011 - Badminton

I am hoping to see many of the badminton players next year in London, especially Peter Gade. This will probably be the last time he will attend a big event as a player, he has said himself that he is to retire after the Games in London. So I am hoping the very best for him at the upcoming Olympics. He has been a great athlete to follow for many years now.

Let us just hope that the new young Danish talent, Victor Knudsen, will be as good as Peter in the future.

Hopefully we will get many badminton players through to the Games, as it is one of the sports we are strong in. In the past we have won four medals, which is quite a lot considering we are not a Asian country..!

In May 2012 they will reveal which of the badminton players will be selected to play in London. So lets cross our fingers for the Danes..



I´ll be in the audience in Birmingham to watch The All England Championship and give my support to the Danish squad..
